Homeowners witnessed giant hailstones reaching sizes of seven centimeters in certain regions. Meteorological experts confirmed that multiple regions across Queensland had been impacted by significant hail.

Emergency crews were working to restore electricity service throughout the damaged zones, with nearly 70 crews activated to handle the widespread outages.

Rescue organizations received over five hundred emergency reports across the region, primarily for structural issues but also for downed trees and inundation.

Humid circumstances were expected to linger along significant areas of eastern Queensland this week as a weather pattern continued to draw in moisture against the coast.
The following day was predicted as the most rainy day, with ongoing storm activity predicted across multiple regions of both areas.

Health officials warned that there was an greater possibility of thunderstorm-induced asthma across the countryside regions, especially given the existing atmospheric conditions.
